A newborn photography session should take about one to two hours
The pace of newborn sessions is calm and laid-back as I accommodate your baby’s demands. Ideally, the infant will be awake and ready for a substantial feed when you arrive so they are prepared for a comfortable, extended nap! I will try to photograph babies in both props and on my beanbag in a range of relaxed and safe poses. My style is a combination of staged and more natural photographs of newborns using wraps, bonnets, hairbands, and soft animals and hearts. I also enjoy taking pictures of the new baby’s parents, siblings, and other family members.
When you have had your 20-week scan, I advise scheduling your newborn photography session so that we can set a time depending on your due date.
